The 2008 Open Studios tour features 18 area artists and has been expanded to two days. "Southern" studios are featured on Sat., May 3, and "Northern" studios are featured on Sun., May 4. However, nine of the participating artists will be open both days. Click here for a printer-friendly version of the 2008 Open Studios catalog, complete with maps and profiles on each artist.

During the 2007 Open Studios tour, Livingston's HUB-TV joined event chair, Carole McGeehan to visit each studio and film the event. Click here to view the Part I of HUB-TV's Open Studios video. Adult volunteers may serve a studio greeter one day, and receive a free ticket for the other event day. Greeters will help set out road signs at the start and end of each tour day; have guests sign the guest book, sell and check tickets at the door and help guests with directions to the next studio they wish to visit. Student volunteers may serve as artist's assistants for a day. Assistants will help direct guests through the studio and help the artist explain, demonstrate and display their art, as well as help with art sales.
Contact Carole McGeehan at 810-229-2132 for more information.
